To support our continued growth, we’re looking for a detail‑driven and proactive Senior Payroll & Pensions Specialist to join our collaborative HR Shared Services team. In this key role, you’ll play an essential part in ensuring the smooth administration of our pension schemes and supporting accurate payroll delivery across the business. Job Responsibilities:
- Administer company pension schemes, including auto‑enrolment, opt‑outs, leavers, re‑enrolment cycles and contribution changes.
- Manage the day‑to‑day running of LGPS schemes, including new starters, leavers, transfers, and TUPE in/out processes.
- Ensure payroll and pension compliance with HMRC regulations, The Pensions Regulator, PAYE, National Insurance and statutory payments.
- Provide accurate monthly pension contributions processing and reconciliation, ensuring alignment with payroll outputs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with external pension providers, LGPS administrators and internal stakeholders (HR, Finance, managers).
- Respond to employee pension and pay queries, delivering clear, timely information.
