We’re looking for three Sous Chefs to join our catering team at HMP Parc, Bridgend. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, motivated chef ready to step into a leadership role. You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day kitchen operation, supervising a team of chefs and working alongside enhanced inmates, helping to ensure the unit runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

What you’ll do:
- Supervising and supporting chefs and enhanced inmates to deliver meals three times a day
- Preparing and serving quality food within a pre-ordered menu structure
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety and compliance
- Completing relevant paperwork and due diligence accurately
- Supporting a positive kitchen culture and confidently managing challenges when they arise
- Completing any required training to support the role
What we're looking for:
- UK residency for the past 5 years with legal right to work
- Ability to pass full DBS and security vetting
- Previous supervisory or team-leading experience
- Relevant culinary qualification
- Effective communication skills and a calm, professional approach
