A Day in the Life of a Kitchen Porter Lead:
- Supervise and manage the kitchen porter team
- Create staff rotas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all kitchen areas
- Oversee washing of kitchenware and deep cleaning of equipment and storage areas
- Manage stock and deliveries, including chemical usage
- Ensure food safety and hygiene compliance
- Assist with basic food preparation
- Meet any other management requests
You’ll Be Set Up for Success If You Have:
- Minimum 5 years of kitchen porter experience
- Level 2 Food Safety & Health and Safety knowledge
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience (preferred)
- Legal right to work in the UK and have resided in-country for the past 5 years
- A can-do attitude and team-oriented approach
- Passion for cleanliness, hospitality, and the food industry
- Advanced English communication skills
