Aramark UK is currently recruiting temporary Food Service Assistants to join our team working at Kingston University, KT1 2EE. You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab-and-go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers
  • General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food
  • General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service
  • Till work and taking payments
  • Restocking items and stock rotation
  • General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.
  • We aim for all staff to be multi-skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e-learning portal.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous catering experience preferred, but not essential
  • Transport to site essential as location is remote
  • Customer service experience required
  • Ability to work as part of a team
