Contract type: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours/week, 5 days over 7, Mon - Fri with one weekend in 3.
Shift times: Mon to Fri 0630 to 1400, 0830 to 1600, 1330 to 2100.
We are recruiting a Steward to join our team at the Officers Mess, Baker Barracks. You will be responsible for contributing to the provision of a quality food and bar service within the Officers Mess.
To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements:
- You must have been a UK resident for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

What you'll do:
- Serving meals, beverages, and bar snack items to customers.
- Cash handling and till operation.
- General housekeeping, including bar cleaning, glass washing, and ensuring the communal areas are kept tidy and neat.
- Stocking up and stock rotation using the FIFO method.
- Report to line manager for any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults, or hazards identified during your shift.
- Duties may be changed to meet the changing needs and requirements of the company.
What we're looking for:
- Been resident in the UK for the past 3 years and have the legal right to work in the UK.
- Can pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Similar work experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
