Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Part-time General Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Regents Park Barracks, London NW1 4AL. As a General Service Assistant, you will be supporting day-to-day operations by serving food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

We are offering a part-time, permanent position. You will be working 16 hours/week, 4 days a week Monday to Thursday. Shift times are 18:30 – 20:30. The hourly rate is £12.21. A day in the life of a General Service Assistant: You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided. Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house. Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 5 years.
  • DBS checks are required for this role with the likelihood of increasing to an Enhanced DBS.
  • Previous customer-facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • For this role you must be 18+.
  • Proficient level of spoken English.
  • Ability to work alone.
