Location & Working Hours

Location: Claro Barracks, Chatham Road, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 2RD. Hourly Rate: £12.21. Hours: 35 hours/week, 5 days over 7 (includes some weekends). Shift Times: Early, middle and late shift | Earliest start time 06:45 | Latest finish time 19.00.

Aramark UK is recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our Defence team at Claro Barracks. This is a permanent full‑time role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers
• Operate tills and process payments accurately
• Maintain cleanliness in dining and service areas
• Support stock rotation and replenishment
• Always uphold health and safety standards

What We’re Looking For

• Previous customer‑facing or food service experience is desirable (training provided)
• Must be 18+
• Eligible to work in the UK and have resided for 3+ years (security clearance required)
• Reliable transport due to site location and limited public transport
