Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Part-time General Service Assistant in their Defence sector to be a part of our integral team at Regents Park Barracks, London NW1 4AL. As a General Service Assistant, you will be supporting day-to-day operations by serving food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 5 years. Security checks are required for this role.

Responsibilities

  • You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is always provided.
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
  • Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, ensuring you process any financial records accordingly. You will also be serving on the food counters and upselling products/sizes.

  • We are offering a part-time, permanent position. You will be working 16 hours/week, 4 days a week Monday to Thursday. Shift times are 18:30 – 20:30.
  • The hourly rate is £12.21.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Eligibility to work in the UK and residence in-country for longer than 5 years. DBS checks are required for this role with the likelihood of increasing to an Enhanced DBS.
  • Previous customer-facing / food service experience is desirable; full training will be provided on site.
  • Must be 18+.
  • Proficient level of spoken English.
  • Ability to work alone.
