You must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks. Aramark UK are currently recruiting a General Service Assistant to join our team working at HMP Birmingham B18 4AS.

Role

As a General Service Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant

  • You will be serving food and beverages to customers, ensuring all health and safety protocols are adhered to and excellent customer service is provided.
  • Stocking up, stock rotation, facing up, spot cleaning, cleaning dining and serving areas, both front and back of house.
  • Operating the till and processing cash and card payments, and upselling products/sizes where appropriate.

You will be set up for success if you have

  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable; however, full training will be given on site.
  • Been resident in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
  • The ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
