Location: Sir John Moore Barracks, Folkestone, Kent CT20 3HJ

Pay: £12.71/hour (£21,211.38 per annum)

Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours/week, 5 days out of 7 (including some weekends and occasional functions)

Shifts: A combination of Earlies, Middles and Lates demanded where needed

What you’ll do:

  • General front‑of‑house duties such as operating the till and cash handling, providing excellent customer service, and serving customers.
  • Making hot and cold drinks and serving food on the food counters, ensuring we are always adhering to Food Safety and Health and Safety regulations.
  • Carrying out all washing up duties for a busy kitchen and restaurant.
  • Supporting the kitchen and FOH team where possible.
  • Ensuring FOH and BOH are clean and tidy.
  • Assisting with deliveries and organising them in the correct storage areas.
  • Removing waste from waste containers and disposing in the correct external bins.
  • Cleaning the restaurant, working in plate wash, and may be required to assist deep clean in the kitchen area while always following food safety and health and safety legislation.

What we’re looking for:

  • Previous kitchen experience is great-but not essential! Full training provided.
  • Eligible to work in the UK and have lived here for 3+ years (security checks required).
  • A team player with a flexible, can‑do attitude.
  • Customer‑focused and a strong communicator.
  • Own transport due to limited public transportation.
