Salary: £28,371.78

Hours: Permanent, full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri (with occasional cover for functions and weekends)

Shifts: Early (06:00-13:30) or Late (11:30-19:00)

As a working Chef, you will have additional responsibility for the control and administration of a unit kitchen, directing and developing the unit team, co-ordinating activities and maintaining standards. What you'll do:

  • Lead kitchen operations.
  • Prepare dishes to spec, following recipe sheets and allergen guidelines.
  • Manage food production, reduce waste, and maintain stock control.
  • Receive and store deliveries using FIFO procedures.
  • Allocate tasks and mentor the kitchen team.
  • Maintain hygiene standards and oversee deep cleans.
  • Ensure all team members are trained and compliant.
  • Maintain regular, positive and productive communication with client and client representatives.
  • Control all handling, collection, recording, and transfer of cash.

What we're looking for:

  • UK residency for the past 3 years and legal right to work.
  • Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Strong leadership, kitchen management, and culinary skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment with high volume customers.
  • SVQ Level 2.
