Aramark UK are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Restaurant Team Leader to join our Hotels team at Chessington World of Adventures. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to take the next step in their hospitality career and gain valuable leadership experience. The role is offered on a full-time seasonal basis until November 2026, with the possibility of becoming permanent following a successful season. Our hotel operation includes a vibrant casual dining restaurant, a world buffet concept, and a busy banqueting and conference department.
As a Team Leader, you'll act as the vital link between our restaurant front‑of‑house team and management, leading from the front to deliver outstanding dining experiences for our guests. A day in the life of a Restaurant Team Leader includes:
- Leading by example to deliver exceptional restaurant service and cleanliness standards
- Coaching, training, and motivating a large front‑of‑house team
- Supporting managers with shift planning and daily restaurant operations
- Acting as the first point of contact for team members during service
- Handling guest queries, complaints, and service issues professionally
- Championing health & safety and food safety standards
- Taking responsibility for your own section and ensuring smooth service flow
- Stepping up to carry out duty manager shifts in the absence of management when required
You’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced restaurant or bar environment
- A basic understanding of food safety and health & safety practices
- Confidence, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead a team
- A proactive, hands‑on approach with a positive attitude
- Flexibility to work shifts across the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Due to the nature of this role, you must be aged 18 or over
