A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

  • Assisting with basic food preparation and service for daily operation within the main school.
  • Assisting with lunch clean-down and cleaning/closing down service times.
  • Ensuring areas are always clean and tidy and operating to brand standards.
  • Assisting with deliveries as required.
  • Barista and hot drinks service.
  • Assisting with hospitality events as required depending on school events.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Minimum 1 year’s experience within the hospitality business, food service skills, and basic food preparation.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • A flexible approach to accommodate school events when they occur.
