Job Description
As a Catering Assistant, you will support the wider catering team in delivering a high-quality food and beverage service. You'll help ensure our customers receive excellent service while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the preparation and serving of food and beverages
- Providing friendly and efficient customer service
- Operating tills and handling payments where required
- Setting up and clearing down service areas
- Restocking food, beverages and other supplies throughout service
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across kitchen, dining and service areas
- Following food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times
- Supporting colleagues during busy service periods
- Carrying out general catering duties as required by the team

Qualifications
What We're Looking For
- A positive, friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A reliable and punctual approach to work
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of catering duties
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- An understanding of food hygiene and health and safety is desirable
- Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience would be beneficial, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important
