Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Barista to join our team working at Coleg Gwent, NP11 7ZA. We are looking for a keen coffee enthusiast to make specialty hot drinks, alongside providing excellent customer service on the tills. You will be working with a fantastic team and supporting the day-to-day running of the unit.

What we offer:
- This is a part-time position, 30 hours per week, Monday- Friday
- Term time only, 38 working weeks of the year (4.569 weeks holiday)
- Hourly rate of pay £12.21

A day in the life of a Barista:
- Making hot and cold drinks to spec - a fantastic way to show off your latte art skills or learn new ones.
- Operating the till, processing cash and card transactions, upselling products and sizes and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
- General cleaning of the unit, including sweeping/mopping the dining areas, rubbish disposal, general clean down of the unit, and ensuring all designated cleaning tasks are complete.
- Serving prepackaged / made to order food and cakes - ensuring all Health and Safety procedures are followed.
- Stocking up and rotating stock daily, ensuring the unit stock is faced-up throughout the day and dated correctly.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Previous Barista experience is desirable, however not essential as full training will be given on site
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
