Aramark is currently recruiting a Catering Manager to join our team at King Henry VIII 3-19 School in Abergavenny. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic catering professional to lead a dedicated on-site team, delivering high-quality food services in a rewarding educational environment.
What You\βll Be Doing
- Oversee all aspects of the catering operation, ensuring alignment with the Aramark Executional Framework.
- Lead and inspire a team to deliver high standards in food quality, presentation, and customer service.
- Plan and execute a variety of events and daily services with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and client satisfaction.
- Provide training, support, and regular performance feedback to the catering team.
- Monitor budgets and drive revenue growth through effective planning and promotional strategies.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene standards, including HACCP.
- Collaborate with marketing and operational teams to implement communication and promotional initiatives.
What We\βre Looking For
- A recognised catering qualification (diploma/degree level) and/or 2-5 years of relevant industry experience, including 2 years in a management or departmental leadership role.
- Experience in high-volume hospitality or event catering (e.g., conference or banqueting).
- Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- A solid understanding of food hygiene and safety standards.
- A commercially focused mindset, with experience managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Adaptable, proactive, and open to continuous improvement.
