Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Monmouth Comprehensive School – NP25 3YT.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who is keen to join a close-knit team assisting with basic food preparation and service for daily operation within the main school.
What we offer
- 15 hours weekly – permanent position
- 38 working weeks, term time only (4.569 paid holiday weeks)
- £12.21/ hour
- Monday to Friday plus some Saturday working
- 8am-1pm or 9:30am-2:30pm

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant
- Food Production for deli grab & go items (sandwiches, wraps, salads)
- Hot Counter Food Service Breakfast & Lunch
- Operating tills
- Organising & Delivering Hospitality Refreshments.
- Working on a scheduled Saturday for school sports days serving refreshments
You will be set up for success if you have
- Basic Cookery
- Basic Food Production
- Hospitality experience
- Experience in working within a school environment.
- PVG check required to obtain an Enhanced DBS.
