Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join their fantastic team at Caldicott School.

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

  • This is a Part time position, 16 hours per week, Mon – Fri, over 39 weeks term time only, leaving your evenings free – a rarity when you work within hospitality. The start date is September 2025.
  • The hourly rate is £12.60, equated pay.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

  • Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
  • Serving students and operating the till, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
  • Stocking up and putting away deliveries
  • General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
