Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Cook in their Education sector to join our team at SGS Pegasus School, Bristol BS32 4AJ. You will be assisting with the production of both hot and cold food, deli grab & go items and serving on the hot food counter at breakfast and lunchtime, providing excellent customer service to our customers and ensuring all Health and Safety regulations are followed.

This is a part-time position, 27.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday, term time only. £19,660.12 across the 41 weeks. A day in the life of a Cook:

  • Prepare and cook meals for breakfast and lunch.
  • Deliver silver service-level catering for hospitality events.
  • Follow recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Support and train new team members.
  • Manage stock, place food orders, and maintain kitchen records.
  • Monitor food safety standards and complete due diligence paperwork.
  • Assist with deliveries and deep cleaning routines.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Relevant cookery/culinary qualification is desirable; however, we will consider experience too.
  • Previous experience working within a school environment would be beneficial.
