Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a General Service Assistant to be a part of our integral team in Taunton, TA1 2DN. As a General Assistant, you will mainly be working front-of-house. You will support day-to-day operations by serving food and beverages to our customers, alongside till work, cleaning dining areas and supporting both front and back-of-house areas. You will provide excellent customer service and report to the General Manager on site.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

A day in the life of a General Service Assistant:

  • Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Aramark.
  • Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
  • Preparation of the service area and/or service points.
  • Correct storage of food items and equipment after service.
  • Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.
  • To always present an image conducive to good customer relations.
  • Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policy.

  • Experience in a similar role is essential.
