We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office & Finance Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role will assume responsibility for the existing reception and office management function and is critical to ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, while also providing essential support to the finance team. You will act as a first point of contact for clients and colleagues, alongside managing office operations, facilities, and a range of finance support activities. This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and highly organised, with a genuine interest in developing a career in finance. Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
  • Manage incoming calls, shared inboxes, and general correspondence for the Leeds office.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, courier deliveries, and internal distribution efficiently.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a safe, organised, and effective working environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Liaise with building management and external providers on maintenance, facilities, and repairs.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and support meeting setup as required.
  • Provide finance support including invoice processing, coding, tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with financial processes such as journals, reconciliations, payments, and supporting month-end activities.
  • Support wider finance operations, including accounts receivable, audit preparation, and ad hoc tasks across finance teams.
