We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office & Finance Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role will assume responsibility for the existing reception and office management function and is critical to ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day running of the office, while also providing essential support to the finance team. You will act as a first point of contact for clients and colleagues, alongside managing office operations, facilities, and a range of finance support activities. This is an ideal role for someone who is proactive, adaptable, and highly organised, with a genuine interest in developing a career in finance. Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, delivering a professional and welcoming front-of-house experience.
  • Manage incoming calls, shared inboxes, and general correspondence for the Leeds office.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post, courier deliveries, and internal distribution efficiently.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring a safe, organised, and effective working environment.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and supplier relationships, maintaining appropriate stock levels.
  • Liaise with building management and external providers on maintenance, facilities, and repairs.
  • Coordinate meeting room bookings and support meeting setup as required.
  • Provide finance support including invoice processing, coding, tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with financial processes such as journals, reconciliations, payments, and supporting month-end activities.
  • Support wider finance operations, including accounts receivable, audit preparation, and ad hoc tasks across finance teams.
