Aramark Government Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering and Site Services Manager to lead the delivery of all Catering Services and support site cleaning services in Central Glasgow at Kentigern House. You will spend some time at HMS Gannet in Prestwick, deputising for the General Manager (GM) and support the development and execution of the Catering Infrastructure. This is a very hands-on role, collaborating with the teams on site to deliver Operational Excellence.

  • Kentigern House is a large office building in Central Glasgow. We provide full Catering and Cleaning services across the site.
  • HMS Gannet is a Royal Navy unit operating next door to Prestwick Airport.

About the Role

  • Lead all Catering Operations across Kentigern site and support the site cleaning services team
  • Support Catering Operations at HMS Gannet
  • Deputise in the absence of the General Managers at Kentigern House and HMS Gannet.
  • This is a hands-on leadership role suited to a confident operator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading operations across Catering and develop the Catering offer to drive sales and profitability
  • Support to delivery of cleaning services and conduct site Audits and Assurance checks.
  • Manage the site waste management plan
  • Deputise for the General Managers across 2 unique sites
  • Ensuring high standards of food quality, service delivery, and site cleanliness
  • Driving continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Leading and developing the Catering Team
  • Managing budgets, forecasting, and overall financial performance
  • Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Safety, environmental and contractual standards
  • Building strong relationships with military stakeholders and responding effectively to customer feedback.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ management experience in hospitality, defence, or a similar environment
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience developing teams
  • Solid fiscal management, including P&L and budgeting
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
  • High energy, resilience, and commitment to delivering service excellence
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, Word, and operational systems)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • The role requires full security clearance which also requires a minimum 5-year UK residence and work history
  • Experience within a defence or military environment
  • Living within a reasonable commute of Glasgow and Prestwick
