We are recruiting two European Data Manager roles:

  • Permanent - full time - 40 hours per week
  • Permanent - part time - 30 hours per week

We are looking for two European Data Managers, reporting specialists to join our team! As the European Data Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the efficient reporting on the data flow from our external partners into our databases. You will be responsible for managing reporting on our data and keeping it organized, working with our Finance, Technology and Supply Chain partners to ensure that the right information is held and presented on how well our business is doing.

While working remotely is supported, there will be some European travel required once established in role. Your main goal will be to act as Reporting Specialist in configuring and maintaining how our data is reported on, so that it is easily accessible at any time to provide insight into how our business is performing. You will be working with an international set of data from across our hotel, restaurant, outlet and purchasing partners to centralise, manage and organise the information to provide a clear view on financial performance and forecasts.

In particular, you will be the key person to manage the relationship management and forecasting system for our European GPO and Managed Services business operating across multiple sectors, coordinating usage, accurate statistics and effective forecasting of performance across the business. In addition to your core role, your unique position will mean you are pivotal to any global or European transformation initiative; providing data, subject knowledge and problem solving to a wider community of change professionals as Aramark and Avendra International look to capitalise on strategic investment to evolve and enhance the business. You will be expected to represent the interests of Europe at a Global level, deputising for the Director as necessary.

This role will be an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to excel in supporting complex supply chain management in a leading global large-scale industry.

Skills and experience required:

  • Fluent English with a preference for Fluent Spanish as well
  • Ability to work independently receiving a minimum of detailed supervision and guidance
  • Accurate, good analytical and mathematical skills
  • DBA or equivalent experience handling large, varied and complex data sources and standardising them through an ETL process
  • Proven experience of BI Toolsets such as Power BI, Tableau or Qlik, additionally SQL, Powershell, BI tools, Microsoft Access and Excel are necessary competencies
  • Experience of working in a procurement department preferably within the Food or Hospitality industry
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good inter-personal skills, as this position will interact with all levels of management both within the company and outside in supplier organisations
  • Proven experience supporting Finance processes (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and General Ledger processing)
  • Thorough understanding of databases and their application
