We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and results-driven Business Development Director with a strong background in Offshore or Contract Catering to drive growth and make a lasting impact.
This is a critical role where your expertise in the Offshore sector will be invaluable as you build and convert a pipeline of high-potential opportunities, working closely with our dedicated Offshore Team.

As a proven leader with a passion for sales and business acquisition, you’ll leverage your offshore catering experience to confidently develop relationships, manage proposals, and close deals that align with our company’s strategic goals. Success in this role requires at least two years of experience in a similar role or hands-on experience in offshore or contract catering operations.

A day in the life of a Business Development Director:
- Responsible for developing and converting the pipeline into live opportunities through a tender or proposal process.
- Supporting retention processes for existing business.
- Takes full ownership of the sales process from creation of new opportunities, meeting prospects, to contract signoff, including proposal development, financial sign off and contract negotiation.
- Liaise with subject matter experts and the support team, to ensure information is up to date and relevant to the client and Aramark requirements.
- Works closely with the Operations teams and support functions to ensure they are fully on board with the solution being proposed.
- Manages Salesforce for the activity and ensures it is always up to date.
- Development and enhancement of a prospect pipeline through engagement, networking, and event attendance
- Map out the potential prospects for the area and build relationships with the relevant buyers within those accounts.
- Prioritise “must win” accounts and have a strategy for how they will be converted
- Review all tender invites for the area and agree whether they are a “real” opportunity that fits into the company sales strategy
- Build relationships with team members to facilitate effective sharing of best practice and open and honest relationships.
You\’ll be set up for success if you have:
- Results orientated – proven track record of performance
- At least two years of experience in a similar role or hands-on experience in offshore or contract catering operations.
- Organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and exceptional quality standards
- Good knowledge of financial models and catering P&L
- Able to multi-task effectively
- Effective strategic, analytical and decision-making skills with innovative and creative ideas
- Self-motivated & driven
- Provides visionary leadership
- Effective communication skills; oral, written, presentation, influencing and negotiation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ideally Salesforce or similar system
- Influencing, coaching and motivating a diverse team
- Successfully worked with a range of clients
