Your Aramark journey starts here. Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Commis Chef to join their fantastic team in Bristol, BS34 7QS. This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting to the Catering Manager on site. The role will assume responsibility for all food production across breakfast and lunch service from one main kitchen and support with planned ad hoc hospitality throughout the year.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

A day in the life of a Commis Chef:
- Preparing and cooking meals for breakfast and lunch following recipe cards. This will also include making retail items and baking.
- Serving on the food hot station - keeping note of any items running low and ensuring all food safety is adhered to at all times.
- Checking all food is compliant with allergens and Natasha's law.
- Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
- Sharing responsibility with the Chef/Catering Manager for the checking, probing, and signing of all food deliveries, stock ordering and maintaining kitchen records.
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Experience operating as a Commis Chef or above.
- Organised with a hands-on ability and strong work ethic.
- Passion for people and food.
- An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
