Your Aramark journey starts here. Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Food Service Assistant to join our team working at Frimley C of E School, Frimley Green Road, Camberley, GU16 6ND. You will be performing basic food preparation, preparing sandwiches and other grab and go foods. Alongside this, you will also be working front of house, operating the tills, and providing excellent customer service to our customers.
What we offer:
- This is a part-time position, 20 hours per week, term time only, Monday-Friday. Shifts are leaving your evenings and weekends free.
- The hourly rate is £11.44.
- 36 working weeks per year.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers.
- General kitchen duties, including food preparation including making sandwiches and cold food.
- General front of house duties such as clearing tables, table service, customer service.
- Restocking items and stock rotation.
- General cleaning of front and back of house - Sweeping/Mopping and general housekeeping to ensure areas are always cleaned to a high standard.
- We aim for all staff to be multi skilled and flexible with full training and support provided both on the job and via our e-learning portal.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must have resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have legal right to work.
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous experience in a catering environment an advantage.
