We are currently recruiting for a Food Production and Service Assistant to be a part of our team at Optic Technology Centre, Ffordd William Morgan, St Asaph Business Park, Denbighshire, LL17 0JD. This is a permanent part-time role, 30 hours per week.

What you'll be doing:

  • Assisting with the production of cold food items including sandwiches and salads, fruit and dessert pots, wraps, baguettes etc, ensuring our products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Mainly preparing grab and go items
  • Serving on counters and tills, which will include cash handling
  • Stocking up
  • Delivering excellent customer service throughout
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and allergen legislation.

Experience:

  • Catering qualification preferred but not essential as full training will be given
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Reliable team player
  • DBS checks required
