Your Aramark journey starts here. Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team working at Withington Girls School, Manchester, M14 6BL. You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to perform basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front of house.

What we offer:

  • This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, (Monday to Friday). Shifts range between 7.00am and 3.00pm (including a half hour break), leaving your evenings and weekends free.
  • The hourly rate is £11.44 equated.
  • Term time only.

A day in the life of a Catering Assistant:

  • Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
  • Serving students and operating the till, ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
  • Stocking up and putting away deliveries.
  • General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
  • Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
