Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef Supervisor to join our team working at Munster Barracks, Waitwith Road, Catterick Garrison, DL9 3PZ. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen, supporting and leading kitchen staff and ensuring the smooth function of the unit. Aramark provides world-class contract catering services to our extensive list of clients across the UK, including Defence and Judicial, private industry and Education.
To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have lived in the UK for the past 3 years and have a legal right to work and must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

- This is a full-time position, £13.50/hour and a 40-hour week, 5 days out of 7 including weekends. Shifts are 06:00 to 14:00 or 11:00 to 19:00.

A day in the life of a Chef Supervisor:
- Working with a team of chefs and kitchen assistants, to deliver around 1000 meals, 3 times a day. You will be supervising in the kitchen unit.
- You will be responsible for the preparation of basic quality foods within a set pre ordered menu.
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy and all stock checks are conducted correctly.
- Completing all relevant paperwork and due diligence forms.
- Handle customer complaints in a professional manner.
- Undertake relevant training as required.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Must have resided in the UK for the past 3 years and have legal right to work.
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Relevant culinary qualification.
- Experience working in a large-scale kitchen.
