We are currently looking for a F&B Assistant Manager to join our talented Food & Beverage team at Chessington World of Adventures. We're looking for a F&B focused individual who is enthusiastic and self-driven. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of something very special at a major UK theme park attracting 1000's of guests during peak season.
You will have the opportunity to be part of a high energy, fun team who delivers excellent customer service each day to all our guests who are ready to have an amazing action-packed day filled with our delicious and innovative food offering. - You will be working on a permanent variable contract, with an hourly rate of £12.76.

The Role: Ideally, you will come from a catering or retail background. Alternatively, you may already have experience in supervising or managing teams and will be confident when it comes to organising them. This is a high-pressure role as the park gets busy, so you need to have a cool head and be ready for every eventuality. Flexibility is a must; you may have early starts or later finishes.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Managing the restaurants and food units during service.
- Assigning team into their roles.
- Organising schedules and your team to be effective on a daily basis.
- Dealing with customer enquiries efficiently and handling complaints.
- Training staff to follow restaurant procedures.
- Maintaining safety and food quality standards.
- Driving operational excellence and supporting staff throughout services.
- Opening and closing units and cashing up.
You'll be set up for success if you have:
- Experience within the F&B/hospitality world.
- Experience managing and leading a team.
- Hands on and highly organised.
- Strong communication skills, reliable and flexible.
