Role Overview
Join Aramark as a Shop Assistant at Campsfield IRC. This is a permanent position supporting our customer service business across defence, judicial, private industry and education.
Responsibilities
- Daily shop support: receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods and arranging attractive merchandise displays.
- Operating tills, checking and managing stock, answering phone calls and responding to emails.
- Picking and packing orders, performing in‑house system work and maintaining accurate records.
- Stock taking, ordering and notifying line manager of any deficient goods.
- Health and safety awareness and key/radio training.
- Supporting the manager in absence and escorting prisoners to and from the shop.
Requirements
- Resided in the UK for the past 5 years and have a legal right to work.
- Pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous customer service experience desirable but not essential; full on‑the‑job training will be provided.
- Comfortable working alongside a team and occasional lone working.
