We are looking for a General Service Assistant to support daily operations at HMP Parc. In this front‑of‑house role you will serve food and drinks, operate tills, keep reception areas clean and supportive of both front and back‑of‑house teams, and deliver outstanding customer service.
What you’ll do
- Serve food and beverages while ensuring top‑tier customer service and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Operate tills, handle payments, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Keep dining and service areas clean and well‑stocked, supporting both front‑ and back‑of‑house operations.
- Upsell products and ensure smooth service delivery.
- Report directly to the on‑site General Manager.
Qualifications
- Must have lived in the UK for the past 5 years and have the legal right to work.
- Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
- Previous experience in customer‑facing or food service roles is a plus – full training will be provided.
Location & Contract
HMP Parc, Bridgend – Heol Hopcyn John, Bridgend CF35 6A
Pay rate: £13.30 per hour
Contract type: Permanent, part‑time (30 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday)
Shift times: between 7am – 4pm (your evenings are yours)
