We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Chef - Retail to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the highest standards of health and safety, quality, creativity, and consistency across our retail offerings, including multiple concessions inside the stadium, fan-zone kiosks, and event catering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Development: Assist in training and motivating team members to deliver exceptional food within your kiosk.
- Health and Safety: Implement and maintain company processes for hygiene, recording, stock management, wastage, and delivery of profit.
- Operational Excellence: Support the Retail Head Chef in the preparation and delivery of our GA & retail experiences within our state-of-the-art stadium.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the day-to-day delivery of consistent and exceptional product quality.
- Compliance: Adhere to food hygiene, COSHH, and due diligence systems, ensuring compliance with UK food safety laws.
Mobilisation:
- Menu Preparation: Assist in the preparation of menus and recipes for test events.
- System Creation: Develop systems and processes for smooth operation.
- Team Structure: Support the Retail Head Chef in building and training a team for service.
- Logistics Coordination: Ensure efficient transition of produce around the stadium.
- Kiosk Setup: Ensure kiosks are adaptable, functional, and maintain high standards.
Operations:
- Food Production: Assist with the production and operational delivery of food across all premium GA and retail outlets.
- Stock Management: Oversee stock ordering, usage, and wastage recording.
- Safety Checks: Conduct regular checks on fridge/freezer temperatures, food probing, and storage.
People Management:
- Team Engagement: Work closely with the management team to maintain high levels of team energy and engagement.
- Training: Ensure all kitchen staff are trained to company standards.
- Leadership: Inspire and lead a kiosk team to achieve outstanding results.
- Communication: Facilitate open and positive communication between front and back of house teams.
Qualifications and Skills:
