Key Responsibilities:
- Kitchen Duties: Perform kitchen duties and production as directed by the Senior Kitchen Management Team. Maintain records and carry out necessary temperature checks. Ensure all dish specifications are followed and adhered to.
- Health & Safety: Deliver an operation with health and safety at the heart of everything you do. Implement company processes for hygiene and safety. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, COSHH, and due diligence systems.
- Operational Excellence: Liaise with kitchen and front of house staff for service standards. Ensure staff uniforms comply with company and legal standards. Follow opening and closing procedures and communicate issues to the Senior Management Team.
- Personnel Management: Supervise team members. Ensure prompt time management and deal with day-to-day problems. Assist in company training programs and keep personal training up-to-date.
Qualifications:
- Extensive knowledge of food handling and food safety standards.
- Full awareness of allergen and calorie procedures.
- Positive and passionate focus on food and hospitality.
- Experience in a similar environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively between front and back of house teams.
- Calm, resilient, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
