As the Strategic Partnerships Manager you will be focused onstrategic profitable business by supporting the Senior Strategic Partnership Managers with a portfolio of strategic BTE partnerships, responsible for supporting building and developing long-term and consultative relationships with ARAG’s strategic partners to drive mutual growth objectives and bespoke partnership development plans including: operating model, marketing plan, commercial structure, sales delivery model, proposition, and retention and profit targets.
Taking a lead from the Senior Strategic Partnership Manager, you will own and drive change and activity in required areas across the relationships.
The key focus of this role will be on ensuring that the governance requirements of the partnership, partner’s business and ARAG are met and the support is provided to meet the growth targets of the partnerships through the delivery of key change and ensuring the contract is adhered to.
This role may require the management of the Executive support team and/or ownership of a smaller partnership account as part of the role holders’ development – this would be under the supervision of a Senior Strategic Partnership Manager.
Responsibilities
- Building and developing long-term and consultative relationships, working collectively and productively with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver on our promises
- Work with key internal stakeholders to ensure ARAG’s delivery on its proposition and service in accordance with contractual obligations
- Drive Customer understanding ensuring business partner engagement; ensuring customers continue to better understand and utilise our suite of products.
- Pre-empt issues internally and externally and develop robust plans to ensure risks and service issues are mitigated.
- Support robust, consistent and compelling account management plans that are agreed and worked on by both parties.
- Develop and continually enhance commercially valuable professional relationships with partners to ensure we extract the maximum commercial value from each relationship.
- Monitor partner performance and understanding on an ongoing basis, measure performance against contractual agreements and customer outcomes, and define performance tolerances which will trigger remedial action.
About You
As an experienced insurance partnerships professional you will be have:
- Proven success supporting, leading and developing partnerships including exploitation of wider business opportunities within the existing partnerships
- Extensive knowledge and experience gained in the insurance industry and experience in large insurance organisations
- Ability to deliver innovative and quality customer solutions
- Collaborative and able to work with others to set goals, resolve problems and make decisions to enhance the effectiveness of the business
- The ability to influence and communicate with confidence at senior levels
- Success at developing and managing internal and external stakeholders to build effective working relationships and collaboratively develop customer offerings
- Flexible and adaptable communication style with the use of appropriate tools, techniques and skills to allow effective and efficient communication
