We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Software Development Team Leader – Visualfiles to join our growing team. In this role, you will lead a cross‑functional group of developers to deliver high‑quality software solutions that meet genuine business needs. You will combine strong technical leadership with people management, ensuring that development work aligns with strategic goals, follows best practices, and meets delivery timelines. Collaboration is key: you will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Testers and other stakeholders to guide and support your team. As a Team Leader, you will foster a positive, inclusive and high‑performing team culture. You will be responsible for technical delivery, driving continuous improvement in development practices and supporting the professional growth of your team members as well as the people‑management responsibilities.
This is a permanent full‑time position with key responsibilities listed below.
Responsibilities- Lead, manage and support a collaborative, high‑performing development team including conducting one‑to‑ones, reviews, and skill development support.
- Own technical output, ensuring quality, security, and scalability while enforcing best practices, coding standards and secure development.
- Review designs, pull requests and architecture decisions and oversee delivery of features, fixes, and enhancements.
- Translate business needs into technical deliverables with stakeholders.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming and estimation.
- Promote Agile and embed Scrum or Kanban practices.
- Drive improvements in tools, processes and team workflows.
- Encourage quality through TDD, CI/CD and peer reviews.
- Contribute to shared standards and reusable frameworks.
- Build strong relationships across Product, QA, Infra and Business teams.
- Communicate team progress, plans and challenges.
- Serve as technical contact and domain expert.
We are looking for someone with experience managing and leading Agile development teams and mentoring others. You will need effective communication skills to work across technical and non‑technical groups, and the ability to coach, inspire and make confident decisions that balance business and technical needs. You should have a solid grasp of modern software engineering practices, Agile methodologies (including being a Scrum Master for Scrum/Kanban), and extensive knowledge in tools such as Visualfiles, Azure DevOps or Jira. Experience with secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, Git and automated testing is important. Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to manage priorities in a demanding environment are key. You will have a history of delivering complex solutions on time and to a high support standard. A degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience is welcome. Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Java) are a bonus.
