Banking and Purchase Ledger Team Leader

This exciting new position brings you into the heart of our Finance Operations in central Bristol, leading the Banking & Purchase Ledger (BP&L) function to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processing across ARAG UK Group\'s bank accounts and purchase ledger activities.
The role is pivotal in managing liquidity, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining governance standards in line with Company Policies.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the BP&L team, overseeing day‐to‐day operations and ensuring all payments are recorded correctly.
Drive high‐standard reconciliations and resolve queries from internal and external stakeholders.
Act as a liaison with the Financial Accounting & Control team, auditors, and other departments to uphold financial controls and reporting obligations.
Develop and monitor KPIs, coach and mentor team members, and manage resource planning to achieve targets.
Qualifications & Experience
Experience in a Cash Management, Treasury or a comparable Operations Manager role.
Strong resource planning, KPI development, coaching and mentoring skills.
Excellent knowledge of FCA & PRA and SRA regulations.
Exceptional organisational and time‐management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Keen attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
