Contextual Overview
ARAG Law is hiring an Associate to join its Employment Team on a hybrid basis from its central Bristol or Bedwas offices. The team comprises over 40 fee earners and handles employment litigation and advisory work for both employees and employers.
Key Eligibility Criteria
- Employment litigation experience with an excellent working knowledge of employment law and procedure.
- Demonstrated ability to run a caseload independently.
- Excellent client care skills and a strong values-driven collaborative mindset.
Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage a varied caseload dealing with unfair dismissal claims, discrimination, and whistleblowing matters.
- Act for both employees and employers throughout the litigation process.
- Provide advisory HR services including drafting employment contracts and reviewing employee handbooks.
- Handle own advocacy where appropriate and engage in negotiation and settlement tactics.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
