Arabian Marine Company (AMC) is a Dubai-based marine specialist delivering high-quality construction, refit, repair, and custom fabrication for yachts, workboats, commercial vessels, and specialised marine structures. We operate across the UAE and the wider GCC region, with selected project assignments throughout the Middle East and beyond. Our work is held to the highest precision standards, meeting classification society and industry requirements on every project.

We are seeking experienced Aluminium Fabricators and Welders to join our project teams on a range of marine assignments across the UAE and the GCC. The role involves fabrication, fitting, and welding of aluminium components for hulls, superstructures, decks, railings, frameworks, and custom marine fittings. Work is carried out in shipyards, aboard vessels afloat or dry-docked, in fabrication workshops, and at client sites across the region.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled tradespeople who take pride in delivering clean, precision welds in a demanding marine environment.

  • Carry out high-quality TIG (GTAW) welding — and MIG (GMAW) where required — on marine-grade aluminium alloys in all positions: flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
  • Weld aluminium structures including hull plating, bulkheads, frames, decks, superstructures, and custom fittings to classification standards (Lloyd's Register, DNV, Bureau Veritas, or equivalent).
  • Prepare materials through grinding, cleaning, and bevelling, and ensure correct fit-up prior to welding.
  • Conduct tack welding, full welding, grinding, and finishing to achieve smooth, watertight, and visually clean results.
  • Work safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in shipyard and marine environments in line with UAE health & safety regulations and AMC's internal standards.
  • Collaborate with fitters, engineers, and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality requirements.
  • Availability for project assignments across the UAE and GCC region as required.

Proven experience (minimum 4–5 years) in aluminium fabrication and welding, ideally within the marine, boatbuilding, yacht refit, ship repair, or equivalent industrial sector.

  • Strong proficiency in MIG welding of aluminium, with TIG welding capability preferred.
  • Ability to produce consistent, high-quality welds with excellent penetration and finish.
  • Experience working from technical drawings and using standard fabrication equipment (plasma cutters, grinders, saws, drills, presses, etc.).
  • Physically fit and able to work in challenging conditions including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor Gulf environments.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
  • Valid UAE residence visa or eligibility to work in the UAE.
