Role Responsibilities:
- The Contract Performance Manager represents Arabelle Solutions in all aspects of both outage and day to day Station engagement.
- Functional Management of year-round resident Pre-outage planning resources.
- Pre-Outage planning which will include scope review, review and deployment of TIL’s as relevant, supporting with estimating costs, Quality and EHS application in line with both Arabelle Solutions policies and EDF specifications.
- Engagement with both Station and EDF central functions to identify growth opportunities within the Arabelle Solutions service scope.
- Engagement with Station Project team to identify growth opportunities for Arabelle Solutions.
- Support EDF Station with entry points into the wider Arabelle Solutions organisation (e.g. Engineering functions, A&C, BOP, Digital etc) and facilitation of introductions.
- Expediting and monitoring Station works in Arabelle Solutions facilities.
- Expediting and reporting on Station spares requirements.
- Identification of opportunities for optimisation, cost reduction, inclusion of new technologies/tools and processes, creation of schemes to deliver and ongoing management to fruition.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Higher level Secondary Education (Degree/ HND or equivalent).
- Experience within power station operations (nuclear or conventional).
- Project Management, Engineering, Quality, EHS, Outage Management experience (One of or multiples).
- Familiar and conversant with normal business IT tools and software (Microsoft Packages, PMX, Primavera P6 etc).
- Strong communication skills, with confidence engaging both internal teams and clients.
- Team player able to engage and become an intrinsic part of the Stations Management Team.
- Understanding of EDF/ Station goals and able to identify win/win options that support Stations aspirations.
- Financial awareness and cost management.
- Self-starter able to work with limited day to day Supervision and able to progress actions under own initiative.
Desired Skills:
- Strong relationship-building abilities and a high degree of professional credibility.
- Able to interface with all levels of EDF station personnel, understand their issues and identify opportunities for Arabelle Solutions to support resolutions.
- Able to interface and foster team working with other Tier 1 (and possibly Tier 2) contractors engaged at site, creating added value to all parties.
