Arabelle Solutions is looking for a Demand Management Specialist to consolidate demand scenarios, improve forecast reliability, and align commercial pipelines with operational capacity planning within its Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) team. The role supports both new‑build and services businesses and operates at the intersection of Sales, Strategy, and Supply Planning, building an integrated demand plan including a 10‑year horizon view.
Responsibilities
- Demand Consolidation & Scenario Building – consolidate demand scenarios for new equipment and services, incorporate inputs from Sales, Strategy and S&OP supply teams, build and maintain scenarios to support load and capacity analysis, ensure market dynamics, customer needs, competitive environment, and market‑share ambitions are reflected in the outlook.
- Collaboration with Sales & Strategic Planning – act as key interface with Sales teams to understand the pipeline, validate assumptions, identify upside/downside risks, collaborate with Strategic Planning and Product Management to align medium‑ and long‑term demand with target markets and business ambitions, and support the creation of a 10‑year demand plan by filling gaps where commercial visibility decreases.
- S&OP Process Integration – work with S&OP Supply teams to ensure smooth integration of demand scenarios with load/capacity calculations, participate in S&OP reviews and provide data‑driven insights and recommendations.
- Tools, Processes & Continuous Improvement – develop and implement simple, flexible, effective tools for demand consolidation, scenario modeling and reporting, contribute to continuous improvement of S&OP processes, methodologies, and data quality, and proactively propose enhancements to forecasting practices, analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, engineering, supply chain, economics or a related field.
- 3–7 years experience in S&OP, demand planning, forecasting, business planning or commercial analytics; experience in industrial, engineering or long‑cycle project environments is a strong plus.
- Solid understanding of forecasting principles, demand‑planning processes and scenario modeling.
- Strong analytical and data‑management skills; proficiency with Excel, Power BI and S&OP/demand‑planning tools.
- Fluent in English and French.
- Excellent cross‑functional collaboration skills, ability to influence without hierarchical authority in a multicultural and international environment, strong communication, business acumen, proactivity, curiosity, structured thinking, and commitment to continuous improvement.
