The TFA will work primarily on nuclear construction sites as part of a new dynamic team focused on installing new ARABELLE shaft lines for EDF or international clients. The first assignment will be at the Hinkley Point site in the UK for approximately 2–5 years. The position is about 90% on-site and involves spearheading installation projects, representing the company to the client and ensuring the final product meets technical and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Installation & Execution
- Install Nuclear Steam Turbine components on the final customer’s site.
- Manage and coordinate on-site activities, including planning, commissioning and hand-over to the commissioning team.
- Participate in and support site mobilization planning, resource alignment and workload management.
- Safety (EHS)
- Implement an EHS culture, ensure communication and compliance with all stakeholders.
- Enforce lockout/tagout plans and conduct on-site audits with the EHS manager.
- Proactively manage Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) on site and promote vigilance beyond the scope.
- Quality
- Ensure technical compliance of installations and hand-over to commissioning.
- Review quality documentation, validate assembly programs and methods.
- Maintain and update the site quality plan and records, manage non-conformities, include corrective actions and incorporate feedback.
- Planning & Delay Management
- Participate in site planning, coordinate activities and prioritize critical tasks.
- Report delays, analyze causes and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate commissioning activities and offshore entities (Engineering, Procurement, Suppliers).
- Cost Control
- Track and compare hours on site for all personnel against budget.
- Monitor material and tooling requests, report missing or damaged items.
