The Lead Site Planner leads the site Planning & Scheduling activity starting from opening of site to PAC of the Project. He will take all actions in his capacity to ensure completion of the Project on time.

Main Duties
  • Prepare site-specific procedures for Planning and CMS implementation in consultation with the CM, Site Manager and with the approval of the Planning & Scheduling Department.
  • Lead development and updating of the Site STS and Contractor schedules, and ensure proper interfacing of the STS, IMTS/MTS and CMS.
  • Coordinate with Project Management, Consortium Partners, Subcontractors and Owner to obtain and validate progress and schedule data, to accurately maintain and update the schedule.
  • Generate periodic time schedule reports, identify delays and critical paths, and recommend recovery scenarios and accelerated schedules.
  • Support CMS Planner in the generation of periodic CMS reports, the Site Planner in schedule updates, and in general daily issues.
  • Lead daily/weekly coordination meetings, interactive planning and accurate forecast assessments.
  • Develop what-if scenarios and special schedule analysis as required.
  • Oversee development of all Site Planning reports.
  • Coordinate all handovers from the various site functions, and regularly communicate schedule priorities and look-ahead based on CPM analysis and SIM input.
  • Liaise with the Site Works Planning Manager to upgrade procedures, processes and tools.
  • Ensure approval from the Lead Project Planner for target schedules and progress data prior to revision.
  • Support the contract department by providing milestones and schedules for subcontracts.
  • Assist the OCM in daily duties such as management of TOPs, Punch Lists, and End-of-Erection documents.
  • Maintain history of site project execution for future projects and contractual purposes such as claim resolution.
Responsibilities & Decision Making
  • Receive timely and complete information from the project team necessary to fulfil tasks.
  • Escalate concerns when project-specific decisions put key completion dates at risk, have resource and cost implications, or could cause delays.
  • Set priorities according to targets agreed with site management and the Site Works Planning Manager.
  • Manage, support and coach subordinates.
