As part of our UK Civil nuclear site activities, we are looking for Construction Project Managers to support our activities on site for Hinkley Point C project on the construction of the Turbine Hall for Units 1 and 2. As a Construction Project Manager, you will be the on‑site focal point responsible for contract, administrative, and organizational coordination of a single work package (mechanical, piping, steel structure).

Working in close collaboration with the Construction Manager and the Contract Manager, you will ensure efficient communication between site teams, all project functions, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to solve what is impacting production. You will act as peer for the Construction manager who is responsible for the execution of the scope and the management of the supervision and workforce.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Contract & Administrative Support: Monitor contractual obligations in coordination with the Construction Manager and Contract manager. Prepare, support and track contractual correspondence, variations, claims, non-conformities, and formal notifications. Manage project documentation in support to execution teams (procedures, drawings, reports, quality files). Support preparation for internal and external audits.
  • Project Coordination & Interface: Act as the daily interface between site teams, all project functions, subcontractors, and project partners. Deal with client on request on interface, progress, reporting, road blocker. Prepare and participate in coordination meetings, planning reviews, and project performance discussions. Consolidate and communicate key information (progress, risks, deviations). Developing and streamlining process to meet site challenges.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Produce weekly and monthly progress reports including KPIs, risks, and cost/schedule deviations. Monitor project trends and propose corrective actions when required. Maintain dashboards and project monitoring tools with SQDC approach (Safety, Quality, Delivery & Costs).
  • Administration & Financial Follow‑up: Prepare inputs for invoicing, cost tracking, and subcontractor payments. Support procurement: purchase requests, commitments, order follow‑up. Contribute to budget monitoring with the project teams.

Competencies:

  • Proven experience in construction, industrial, or infrastructure project management.
  • Strong understanding of contract management (EPC, subcontracting, variations).
  • Proficiency in reporting tools and document management.
  • Familiarity with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) and quality aspects on industrial sites.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional, multi-cultural and international environment.
  • Rigor and ability to prioritize and adapt to time-constrained environments.
  • Proficiency in planning management.
  • Experience or Knowledge in the nuclear industry or experience on a power plant site would be a plus.
