Arabelle Solutions, part of EDF Group, is looking for a Sourcing Specialist - Buying/Procurement to join our growing team at the Newbold Road site in Rugby.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the buying process for a given set of goods, applying sourcing policy and interfacing between suppliers and the entity regarding specifications and budgets.
- Develop and manage existing supply chain ensuring components are delivered according to Quality, Cost and Time as per project needs.
- Negotiate and manage existing terms and conditions, manage claims and vendor recovery.
- Order fulfilment tasks to ensure material on-time delivery, PO placement and invoice management.
- Expedite orders and coordinate supplier and product qualification with Quality & Engineering teams.
- Develop alternate sources and/or risk mitigation plans for single & sole source suppliers.
- Identify and deliver value‑adding opportunities from the supply chain.
- Manage and improve supplier relationships and communicate problems and solutions with internal and external customers at senior levels.
- Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying risks and developing mitigation plans.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Demonstrable years of transactional sourcing and procurement experience with in-depth experience in high‑value and complex projects.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills.
- Self‑starter with drive, able to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously, adapting quickly to project situations.
- Project management skills and schedule management a must.
- Experience with SAP, Microsoft packages including MS Project.
- Experience in the power industry related products is desirable.
- Ability to travel when required.
- Experience with quality and supplier quality processes beneficial.
