Roles and Responsibilities

  • Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
  • Perform mechanical engineering work for all products.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking to execute policy/strategy.
  • Apply best practices and understand how the area integrates with others.
  • Use judgment and propose alternative solutions when addressing more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and interdependent production cycles.
  • Leverage internal and limited external sources outside of own teams to arrive at decisions.
  • Explain technical information and develop skills to bring team members to consensus on field topics.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced experience in Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component (knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan and execute programs.
  • Knowledge of Catia V5.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of rotating equipment – turbines, pumps, compressors, motors.
