We are looking for a Site Controller who will be responsible for managing financial controls, accurate forecasting, project governance and financial performance for our new build project at Hinkley Point C. The ideal candidate will combine rigorous financial control with strong commercial acumen, serving as a trusted advisor to key stakeholders while constructively challenging project delivery teams to ensure financial milestones are met on time and within budget. This role will report into the UK Program Lead Project Controller.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site finances including cash flow, revenue, and margins
  • Track and control all financial transactions related to site activities
  • Ensure accurate and timely customer invoicing
  • Monitor costs and prepare quarterly forecasts
  • Manage payments and follow up on cash collection
  • Track and manage all project variations
  • Working with key stakeholders to monitor WIP, ensuring adherence to financial milestones
  • Identify and manage financial risks
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting rules, and tax regulations
  • Prepare financial reports and support audits
  • Provide clear financial updates to stakeholders

Requirements

  • ACCA/CIMA certification or degree in Finance/Accounting
  • Experience in financial controlling, ideally in construction or similar industry
  • Good knowledge of SAP and Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work independently
  • Team player with a proactive and results-driven mindset
