The main objective of the role is to ensure value for money is achieved alongside contractual compliance across a portfolio of assigned projects. Key duties will include: * Provide commercial assurance for an assigned major project or framework. * Ensure cost management against the project budgets, highlighting commercial challenges early. * Manage change, payments and extension of time across projects. * Monitor and ensure that contractual compliance is maintained across projects. * Deliver monthly reporting, auditing and agreeing of project accounts. * Provide contractual advice and guidance to delivery teams. * Benchmarking tenders and provide input into award recommendation. Candidate Requirements You'll have at least 5 years experience working in the public sector / regulated industry or for a construction contractor or cost consultancy, with experience of delivering construction or infrastructure projects. You'll have many years experience commercially managing IChemE, NEC or JCT contracts, with a strong understanding of managing complex change events and contract risks. You’ll be working as a Senior / Project Quantity Surveyor or Quantity Surveyor seeking progression or career development, with experience of setting commercial strategies for projects for many years.
