A Leading Construction Contractor is looking for a Site Surveyor to help deliver a portfolio of packages for major construction projects in the East Midland area. The main objective of this role is to develop and implement pre and post contract strategies, whilst also taking ownership of commercial functions and contract reporting. Key duties include: * Take ownership of subcontract packages, whilst demonstrating an understanding of the implementation of internal and external tender strategies. * Delivery of day-to-day commercial activities with a firm focus on added value, compliance, commercial viability, and best practice. * Working with the senior stakeholders to agree main and subcontract final accounts. Candidate Requirements Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor ready to take on a new challenge, they will also consider an experienced Assistant Quantity Surveyor ready to take the step up. You will have a minimum of 2 years delivering your own projects at Quantity Surveyor level, or 5 years as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor who has experience in delivering their own projects. Must have demonstrable track record of delivering construction projects for any reputable contractor. Not interested in infrastructure experience.
